FEATI U banners outstanding top students in fields of maritime, aeronautics, arts and sciences

STA. CRUZ, Manila – Academic excellence has always been one of the greatest strengths of students from the FEATI University, one of the top educational institutions in the country. So, it was just fitting for FEATI University to give recognition to its outstanding students for 2017. The event was held on September 8, 2017 at the Audio-Visual Room of FEATI University in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Engr. Kevin G. Garcia, Engineer II of the Land Administration Management System (LAMS) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and an alumnus of BS Geodetic Engineering Batch 2013 gave the inspirational message that encouraged the students to embody the core values of FEATI University in their student and professional lives by maintaining excellence, integrity and patriotism.

“It is very important for us FEATI graduates to always live to our university’s expectation, for us to excel and stand out as we pursue our goals in life and by practicing what we learned from FEATI we can be sure that we will attain success,” said Engr. Garcia.

FEATI University officials, led by its Vice Chair and CEO Francisco A. Segovia, gave out awards to outstanding students for academic excellence and leadership.

The Don Salvador Araneta Award was given to :

“FEATI University is very proud of our students who have excelled in their academics and have shown extraordinary leadership as they become assets not only of the University but also of their future employers and the country in general, so we challenge them to always outdo themselves in pursuit of success,” said CEO Francisco A. Segovia.

The yearly recognition and awards ceremony is part of FEATI University’s way of showing appreciation for its outstanding students. It serves to further motivate students to aim high and look up to reach their dreams.

“This year’s outstanding students have shown that anything is possible with hard work, perseverance and the will to learn things that will equip them with the necessary tools in order to succeed in their chosen fields because there is no substitute for a good education earned from a university that settles for nothing but the best,” said Dean Tristan H. Macapanpan, Vice Chair of the FEATI University Academic Council.

Other university officials present to give honor to the outstanding students were Dr. Gloria Mateo-Alberto, Executive Vice President and COO; Ms. Jowina M. Segovia, Senior High School Executive Director, Dr. Rogelio A. Panlasigui, Dean of College of Engineering, Mercedes H. Duterte, OIC-Director of the Office of Student Affairs, Melanie P.
