FEATI University graduate enters Top 5, five others pass Aeronautical Engineer Licensure Exams
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Aeronautical Engineering announced that there are 85 passers out of the 170 examinees who took the 2012 Aeronautical Engineer Licensure Examination in November.
FEATI University took 3rd place in the “school performance ranking”, per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000: “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation”. The university had an 85.71% passing rate based on the number of students who took the exams.
Of the Top 10 examinees, our very own Maria Katrina M. Cazenas ranked 5th with a rating of 83.85%. Katrina tied with Lloyd Levin I. Gagarin of PATTS.
Other successful FEATInianswho passed include Maria Elaine I. Elago, Maria Ermiña Cassandra G. Soralbo, Matthew Rainier S. Yu, Barron Erik T. Bautista, and Niño John Alexis C. Quioco. The seven newly minted FEATInian Aeronautical Engineers will take their oath on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in a ceremony to be officiated by the PRC Board of Aeronautical Engineering. The new engineers will also be inducted as members of the Society of Aerospace Engineers of the Philippines at the same affair.
Attesting to the authenticity and results of the examinations were Engr. Ernesto B. Ferreras, Jr., Chairman and Engr. Redentor C. Malia, Member, of the Board of Aeronautical Engineering.
