FEATI University's College of Maritime attains record number of cadets on board ships and passes annual ISO 9001:2008 audit
There's nothing but great news coming from the College of Maritime Education and Superintendent Engr. Edmon S. Aloc and the CME community should really bring out the champagne and smash it on the bow of a ship. FEATIU cadets are off navigating the world with leading shipping companies, all of whom are industry partners and unequivocal supporters of CME. The College itself continues to be one of the most updated units of the University after recently passing its ISO 9001:2008 surveillance audit by the GlobalGROUP and by the commissioning of its Norkontrol full mission bridge and integrated engine room simulators for the soon-to-be operational FEATI University training center. In addition two all-weather lifeboats are already hanging from their davits at the riverside of the campus.
Congratulations are also in order for the male and female cadets who are poised to achieve even more in an industry of limitless possibilities:
Cadets Isidro Torayno, Roger Mamaril, John Michael Millare, Edmon Mendoza, and Heart Baylon all passed the selection process of Marlow/Gallant Shipping Company.
Class of 2013 graduates Raphael Camu, Kim Anjolo Rivera, and Stacy Farrales have all gone through their final interviews with ABOSTA Shipping, will be trained for one month as Engine and Deck Cadets and then deployed shortly thereafter.
Engine Cadet Jayvee Estorco spent Christmas en route to Cyprus and Germany courtesy of shipping giant PTC.
Sophomore Cadets Carlo Almazan and Carlo Cobrado are full scholars of Thome Shipping Management (TSM).
