FEATInian is second in Aero Eng’g Board Exam
Proving that its graduates are globally-competitive, FEATI University has once again produced three newly licensed Aeronautical Engineers from its Batch 2010 graduates: Jittari Agbayani, Roi-Allan Bernardo and Dave Edward P. Jandusay. On top of that, Jandusay, with an average of 87.85 percent took second place among the forty-eight passers of the 2010 Aeronautical Engineering Board Examinations of the Professional Regulation Commission.
The newly minted engineers looked upon the Board Exams on November 3-5 as “Judgment Day on earth”, but they put to good use the previous four months of continuous reviewing and enforced abstinence from socializing – which also meant no Facebook! By Monday, November 8, the fruit of their labor and hard work had become widely known as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the list of successful examinees.
The three new engineers have different stories to tell, starting with Agbayani who is alone in Metro Manila and had to spend the duration of his refresher course at FEATI away from his family, then Bernardo who travelled all the way from Bulacan every weekend for said refresher course, and Jandusay who had to go directly to FEATI without resting or sleeping after spending his night working as call center agent.
The three view their success in the board exam as the result of determination, hard work, faith and a lot of prayers. “If something is worth doing, it is worth doing well”, this is what they are now telling students who are next in line to them.
The three have actually challenged the current fifth year FEATI Aeronautical Engineering students to match or surpass their feat, and in so doing, put FEATI in the limelight once again in the Aero Engineering Board Exams. (DEPJ)
