FEATI Fine Arts students featured in exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum
Five School of Fine Arts (SFA) students are featured in a photo exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum Manila at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Manila from July 22 to August 9, 2010. “Reaction Shots: Dynamic Image Responses by Filipino photographers to the exhibit,” shows the work of FEATI University SFA students Alfred Ong, Airom Mercado Gimotea, Rey Lacap, Georjanno Abenoja and Mark Davila under the tutelage of their SFA mentor Neil de la Cruz who also served as their project adviser. Their works serve as response to the exhibit “Out of the Ordinary / Extraordinary: Japanese Contemporary Design,” which started on June 15 and will end on September 30.
The “Reaction Shots” exhibit highlights the works of three groups of artist-photographers who were tasked to take reaction photos to the images featured at the “Out of the Ordinary / Extraordinary” exhibit. Next to be featured on the Reaction Shots exhibit are Silverlens Gallery from August 10 – September 6 and Camera Club of the Philippines from September 7 -30. (KAL)
